Limited to 500 copies.<\/p>\n<p>Mighty Music is proud to announce the release of \u201cElectrifyed\u201d, the brand-new studio album from NWOBHM pioneers\u00a0<strong id=\"isPasted\">TYGERS OF PAN TANG<\/strong>. The album finds the legendary British metal act returning to a heavier and more aggressive sound while retaining the melodic identity that has defined the band throughout its celebrated career.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>\u201cThe heavier, the better\u201d that was our mantra throughout the writing and recording of \u201cElectrifyed\u201d<\/em>\u201d, singer Jack Meille comments about the writing process of the record. \u201c<em>We wanted to rediscover the pleasure of being driven by the powerful force of a heavy riff without losing that melodic touch all great Tygers songs have<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Written with a clear artistic vision from the outset, \u201cElectrifyed\u201d draws inspiration from the raw energy of the band\u2019s early years, particularly their landmark debut album \u201cWild Cat\u201d, while showcasing the chemistry and creativity of the current line-up. The result is a collection of songs built around powerful riffs, memorable melodies and a renewed commitment to the heavy metal traditions the band helped establish.<\/p>\n<p>The album also introduces guitarist John Footitt on record for the first time. Joining founding member Robb Weir, Jack Meille, drummer Craig Ellis and bassist Huw Holding, Footitts guitar skills fit the album\u2019s muscular and contemporary sound.<\/p>\n<p>To achieve the sonic impact envisioned by the band, Tygers of Pan Tang worked closely with producer and musician Marco Angioni, a longtime friend and collaborator who helped translate the group\u2019s ambitions into a cohesive and powerful final product. The album artwork was once again entrusted to Andy Pilkington of Very Metal Art, whose striking cover concept perfectly captures the spirit and energy of \u201cElectrifyed\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>More than four decades after helping launch the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, Tygers of Pan Tang continue to demonstrate why they remain one of the movement\u2019s most enduring and respected names. \u201cElectrifyed\u201d stands as both a tribute to the genre\u2019s roots and a statement of intent for the present day.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>It\u2019s time to honour the musical movement that we helped to start &#8211; the \u2019New Wave of British Heavy Metal\u2019.
