Mighty Music are proud to announce the release of a live album by the Tygers of Pan
\nTang, to be called \u201cLive Blood\u201d. Stalwarts of the NWOBHM, the Tygers are currently
\ncelebrating eight years with Mighty Music during which time they have released
\nthree well received new albums, the most recent of which \u201cBloodlines\u201d, was met with
\nuniversal critical acclaim in 2023. The band, with guitarist Robb Weir at the helm,
\nalong with long-serving members Jack Meille (vocals) and Craig Ellis (drums), includes
\ntheir two new recruits for \u201cBloodlines\u201d: guitarist Francesco Marras and bass player
\nHuw Holding. \u201cLive Blood\u201d includes material from across the band\u2019s career, including
\nsongs from their first four albums with MCA Records plus their last four albums of new
\nmaterial.<\/p>\n
Jack Meille comments: \u201cRecording a live album after all this time with the Tygers?
\nI never thought I would experience it but with the Tygers Of Pan Tang I have learnt
\nthat the \u201cimpossible\u201d is possible. \u201cLive Blood\u201d captures all the energy we deliver while
\nplaying our favourite songs live and raw!\u201d.<\/p>\n
The recording was made at The Patriot venue in Wales UK during the summer of 2023
\nand will arrive as a single CD and a double vinyl featuring additional tracks. The album
\nwill be preceded by the release of two singles: the live favourite \u201cGangland\u201d from their
\nlegendary \u201cSpellbound\u201d album and the hidden gem \u201cKeeping Me Alive\u201d from \u201cAmbush\u201d.
\nWe will leave the final word with Robb Weir: \u201cEvery time we play a show we are asked
\nwhen we are going to record a new live album. Our live show adds a new dimension to
\nthe old songs and allows us to stretch out a bit on the newer numbers\u201d.<\/p>\n
