\nThe first and probably the most used one is \u201ccoming of age\u201d, which refers to reaching adulthood
\nor a certain level of maturity. On their 33rd year of career, French death\/thrash metal veterans
\nNO RETURN have already passed the \u201ccoming of age\u201d phase. But that doesn\u2019t mean they have
\nstagnate, settle down or rest on their laurels. In fact, quite the contrary.<\/p>\n
Welcome to the new chapter of No Return, one of the most well-known and oldest metal bands in
\nFrance. The death\/thrash machine is back with \u201cRequiem\u201d, their eleventh studio album and, very
\nlikely, their heavier and most savage work to this date. In fact, the Parisian five-piece presents
\nitself with a renewed sound, sporting a new level of intensity, melody and heaviness. In a nutshell,
\nit\u2019s No Return on steroids.<\/p>\n
No Return formation dates back to 1989 and soon it became a trademark of the European melodic
\ndeath\/thrash metal scene. The band recorded its first album \u201cPsychological Torment\u201d in Germany
\nwith Coroner\u2019s drummer and Marky Marquis as art director and went to produce the second album,
\n\u201cContamination Rises\u201d at Morrisound\u2019s Studios in Tampa, Florida, with the help of Tom Morris. All
\nthis within three years of career.<\/p>\n
Ever since, No Return has kept on sharing its passion for metal music, performing alongside
\nbands such as Arch Enemy, Samael, Napalm Death, Sepultura, Coroner, Mot\u00f6rhead, and many
\nothers, all while regularly releasing new albums. <\/p>\n
In 2019, underlining 30 years as a band, the French collective played several dates of an exceptional set-list of their career. The year 2020 brought vocalist Steeve\u2019s comeback (he recorded \u201cSelf Mutilation\u201d, and \u201cMachinery\u201d in 2000
\nand 2002, respectively). In addition to the release of the live album \u201cLive XXX\u201d, the band started
\nworking on their new studio record, \u201cRequiem\u201d, which is now finally set to be released.<\/p>\n
